| | | | | | | Devised to develop competences within its corporate staff, Eletrobras System Corporate University (Unise), it rises in a moment when the company is getting ready to fulfill its role with excellence in a strategic sector such as that of the power sector. Throughout 2005, the members of the Board and of the Steering Committee, who are responsible for the project, met the representatives from the controlled companies Eletrobras Chesf, Eletrobras Eletronorte, Eletrobras Cepel, Eletrobras Furnas and Eletrobras CGTEE in order to exchange experiences. The final product of this exchange resulted in a corporate education project intended to turn the employee’s professional growth into competitive advantage for the sector.
The courses at the Eletrobras System University are offered to all the employees in the group company, based on distance education techniques – such as online resources and videoconferences – and classroom courses. The structure of the training sessions from Unise is done based on the Competence and Talents Bank – a tool capable of identifying the skills and the deficiency in the company’s staff, minimizing the latter and taking more profit from the potential of the workers.
Therefore, Eletrobras is committed to forming people capable of constantly and critically reflecting upon the organizational reality, constructing it and changing it on behalf of competitiveness. | |
